However, during a recent practicum placement, I was in a Year 5 bod where a child was diagnosed with Aspergers syndrome. She was new to the syndicate, having recently left her previous school due to difficulties. Her attention and affable skills were the almost adversely affected. She found it very difficult to model quietly in fork and refrain from speaking out. The most extreme form of her behaviour occurred when she seemingly forgot basic class rules such as stay in your seat. At her new school, she was finding it difficult to make friends and some of the children were become frustrated with her. As a result, an Advisory Teacher came into the class to talk to the children, at a time when the child was non in class, to explain to them why she behaved the way that she did.
