Introduction

I work at a further reading College for students with epilepsy, associated learning difficulties, behavioural difficulties and other neurologic difficulties. The College is based inwardly a large institution called the David Lewis midpoint. The Centre and the College prides itself with serviceing individuals along their path of independence. The college describes this in its missionary station statement, Our mission is to change young people with complex epilepsy and related neurological conditions to make the optimum transition to adult living. (2006, p1)

This is achieved done numerous and various methods of support to provide equal opportunity and inclusion. Inclusion is provided through enabling all students to access the education available and fundamentally inclusion into the wider community.

Within my practice as a College Tutor I work with small groups of students to pull ahead learning within Creative Arts and to promote many transferable life skills. During this time, support has to be minded(p) to enable students to be given the opportunity to be part of the classroom learning community. Curzon (2004) describes this learning environment, as a positive supportive-learning humor.





During this assignment I will be investigating politics policy and legislation to ascertain whether this is being born emerge within daily practice at The David Lewis College, whilst considering the support given to three learners.
