Data Analysis.
In my science class we had to investigate how the slew of borax affects the spread of polyvinyl acetate glue. My teacher (Mr Pillay) put our class into teammates and my partner was Jermaine.
There were two outliers, which we had to cross out because they do non fit with the rest of the results, this could take for occurred because we may have both timed it for too long, or they may have tried and true it an unequal sum of times. I think we got this result because it had a negative correlation, meaning that the to a greater extent borax we put in the slight it began to spread.
1. We firstly had to get our equipment which consisted of;
* pipette.
* Glass criterion Beaker.
* flexible tray.
* Timer.
* Ruler.
* Plastic cup (bottom cut off)
2. We then, poured 50ml of PVA glue into the Glass Measuring Beaker ready to begin the pratical.
3. After that, we used a Pipette to measure the amount of Borax we added, which was approximately. 5ml.
* Instead of using a pliant pipette we should have used a glass genius because, as we was withdrawing the borax solution there was a significant amount of air bubbles which would have affected the amount of borax we had in the tractile pipette.

After this procedure I then had to stir the PVA glue and Borax solution together using our two fingers, for stock-still long we thought was correct.
* We should have used a timer and timed each stirring to make the time much accurate; because the longer we stirred it together the thicker the substance and we could have also used a glass stirring rod cell because the borax was sticking to our fingers therefore taking some of the borax away and make the results uneven.
5. The next step we took was to pour the slime through a plastic cup that had no bottom which would let the slime through and onto the plastic tray underneath. By using the plastic cup, we do the slime sit in the centre of the tray which made our results more accurate.
